Eliana Savvidi Joins BIMCO Advisory Board

InterMaritime Shipmanagement is pleased to share that Eliana Savvidi, General Counsel, has been invited to join the Advisory Board of BIMCO’s Agentic Contracts initiative.

The initiative, developed in collaboration with BIMCO and Hunit, explores how digital technologies can transform standard maritime contracts into self-performing operational systems, helping reduce manual processes, improve transparency and strengthen risk management across the industry.

As a member of the Advisory Board, Eliana will contribute practical expertise from the ship management perspective to help ensure that the development of agentic contract workflows reflects how contracts are used in day-to-day maritime operations.

Eliana was recently recognised in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist: Greece & Cyprus 2025, highlighting her leadership and impact as an in-house legal professional. She also played a key role as lead counsel in the recent merger between Intership Navigation and Interorient Navigation, one of the most significant corporate transactions in Cyprus’ maritime sector. Her participation in the BIMCO initiative reflects InterMaritime’s commitment to supporting forward-looking developments that strengthen innovation, efficiency and governance across the shipping industry.
